Yellowstone National Park (Grand Pristmatic Hot Spring)Time
SunsetLighting
The lighting that broke through the clouds was exsquisite! It lit up the bacteria beds that make Grand Prismatic Hot Spring so unique.Equipment
I used my Nikon D7500 with a 16-80 mm Nikon lens and a amazon basics tripod.Inspiration
I was inspired the beauty of Grand Prismatic. I’ve seen many photos of this natural wonder, but I wanted to show a unique side of this popular location.Editing
I did minimal post processing in Lightroom. My main goal with this photo was to show how it looked in real life. I wanted to show the natural beauty, not create it.In my camera bag
I usually have my Nikon D7500 with my 16-80 mm, 18-300mm, and 40 mm macro lenses. I also have my amazon basics tripod, ice filters, and many other photographic assecories.Feedback
My best advice is to just live in the moment. This can be difficult for photographers, but remember our main goal is to share and capture beauty. In my opinion, it’s best to experience what is in front of your eyes before taking the picture. This way you’ll know the emotions that are connected to whatever you are photographing, and you’ll be able to show that through your pictures.
