Interior of a Ladakhi nomad home-tent. The objects in the bowls in the foreground are dung ~ goat dung and yak dung ~ used for fuel for the fire. The woman standing is the mother of the child to the left and the baby being held by the bearded man on the right who is the grandfather.Three generations live, eat , sleep together in this one room tent. The rest of the year they move in a series of camps, dictated by grazing needs of their animals, and water sources.
