Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my backyard on a warm fall day. I have a rather large yard with plenty of grass and shrubs for my dogs to play in.

Time

I typically don’t take midday shots since I prefer sunrise or sunset photo effects, but my puppy was being goofy, running around the yard, so I just ran inside and grabbed my camera. She just happened to stop and look at me at the right moment.

Lighting

The lighting was surprisingly bright for midday without the glare of the sun.

Equipment

My Nikon camera with flash.

Inspiration

I think dogs are beautiful creatures. I love watching them play and the many facial expressions that cross their face.

Editing

Yes, I just enhanced the color a bit with Photoshop.
