During this whole wedding we had a windstorm and rainstorm. Branches were coming down all around us, there was no power, it was pouring. Just before this photo the power came back on for a few minutes. It was lucky it did because I love this shot of the bride and groom!

Location
I took this photo in Puyallup, WA at Rock Creek Gardens. This is very popular wedding venue in that area.Time
This image was taken at around 5:00 pm.Lighting
There was a terrible wind and rain storm during this wedding. The power was out almost the entire day. 5 minutes before this photo was taken, the power was restored. The sun popped out for about 5 minutes as well, so we had some beautiful late afternoon light on the groom's face.Equipment
This image was taken with a Canon 6d and a 24-105 lens.Inspiration
When I saw this sign on the grounds of the venue, I knew I had to have a photo by it. I originally had the bride and groom kiss, but the groom kissed his bride's forehead and I knew that was so much better!Editing
I ran this image through Lightroom to clean it up a bit, as well I did some finishes in photoshop and added a slight haze to the image. In my camera bag
I always have my camera, a couple go-to lenses...I shoot most of the time with my Canon 24-105 mm lens as well as amy 85 mm lens, an external flash, and a light diffuser.Feedback
Regardless of the weather, you can find beauty everywhere! Stick with your ideas and also be willing to let the client guide the pose so it becomes natural.
