Location

around middayLighting
When I take wildflowers, I usually take time to do a round in the meadow or field to find the best angle of light.Equipment
Nikon D3x and the 200-400 zoom. No tripod, it lives in my gardenInspiration
I love meadows with wildflowers and I look out for new flowers!Editing
just a very slight contrast tweak in LRIn my camera bag
The d800 or the the d4, depending on light and subject. A macro lens like the sigma 180 2.8 , the 500mm, a 24-70 and what I call a bokeh lens an 85 1.4 or sometimes the very old 55 1.2.Feedback
Look for neglegted rural settings, wetlands, drylands, where the cattlle hasn't been for a while. Revisit till you like the show, after a downpour and experiment.
