Behind The Lens

Location

I have taken this shot at someone's farm. My nephew was a little distracted with the horses and pointed this emu saying it looked like his math teacher. In fact I found the resemblance with an human remarkable. Its eyebrows give us a sensation it will wink at us at any time.

Time

It was early morning in a winter day.

Lighting

Just natural light. The profile angle was on purpose, the other side of its face is actually dark.

Equipment

Canon 6D stock lens

Inspiration

I have a profound admiration and respect for nature. The perfection and imperfection of it. The chaos of the patterns you can find in nature is remarkably balanced and perfectly in harmony. That false sense of simmetry and uniquenes of the texture is really absorbing to me.

Editing

Nothing special, just regular flow to enhance sharpness and color.
