Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Landschaftspark Duisburg. Old steel plant which has been organized in park and place for the visit. Was making two sessions. First one was during a day and second much scary during the night :).

Time

I was starting in the evening at 9 p.m. where almost nobody was there and finishing at 4 a.m in the morning. Of course some crazy people like me, but this place is really magical and worth to be seen during a day and especially during the night.

Lighting

Was looking for the places where the light was playing a lot, especially this time means night. So, tripod and long exposure, as long as possible to get some flares and make me a ghost :).

Equipment

I did use my old fellow means NIKON D810 and Sigma 24-70 ART. Of course, a tripod was part of my set as well.

Inspiration

The beauty of the industrial surrounding I have seen in the internet and was really jealous about that. In addition to that, it's good to work in the corporation and having the multinational team. One of my German colleagues was recommending me this place many times, cause he knows photography is my hobby. And at the end, I could not resist the beauty of this place.

I was only enhancing the saturation of colors to make them a bit stronger to show the beauty of the industrial world, some mystery and

In my camera bag

Well, I use my second fellow during my travels means case logic backpack. Nothing special inside. I am not professional. So, I use one set: NIKON D810 and Sigma 24-70 ART. That's enough. Of course not forgetting about the snacks.

Feedback

See the photos around. Plan your trip and make your photos in a different way than others. Do not repeat them, think and make the new one. They are saying that we have golden hours to make the pictures. Maybe, but I do not stick to this so often. Simply, try to make as many shots as possible in every time of the day. You do not need a sunny day. Cloudly one is even more interesting. Night as well. Think about the shot before. What crop, the position you are going to use. That will make your life easier. Do not lose the opportunity. And remember that's not the equipment is making you a photographer. That's you, only you. Limited equipment is making you more creative. So, go, take the shots and share them with others. And whatever, wherever and whenever you do, do it safely.
