This photo was taken in Mount Wilson (Blue Mountains) New South Wales, Australia. Mount Wilson is know for it's gardens and beautiful autumn colours. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day and it was hard to find the autumn shots. This spot was just after a bend in the road that caught my eye. For me it was important to have that 'autumn' bokeh combined with the white lines on the road.Time
It was in the morning hours. We left at 4am to catch the sunrise in Blackheath and then travelled around the area.Lighting
What caught my eye was the sun trying to get through the clouds and coming out of that tunnel of trees it was just enough to get the shot I was looking for.Equipment
Shot on my Canon 5d mIV, 50mm f/4 1/100s. Laying flat on the road handheld.Inspiration
I like those low point road [pics. Normally you see them with and endless road. That we not possible here. For me the road ends up in your own mind and your fantasy can take you beyond the horizon.Editing
The usual fiddling with the colours and framing. Nothing spectacular. Not much post-processing needed. In my camera bag
Canon 40d, Canon 5d Mark IV, Canon 17-40 1:4.0, Canon 24-105 1:4.0, Canon 50mm 1.4, Canon 40mm 2.8, Canon 70-300 5.6, Complete set Nisi filters, Manfrotto TripotFeedback
Always try to find the other angle from the obvious. Shots have been taken a million times and I think theres nothing wrong with that however you should try to create your own look on that. That's how I feel you can get the creative shots.
