Here is a shot I got at Cherry Blossom Park in the University of Washington campus. After walking around for about 45 mins getting shots from the ground I decided to go where no other photographer was going. To the sky.

Location
This was taken at ‘Cherry Blossom Park’ at the University of Washington in Seattle.Time
It was early afternoon I believe. You can kind of tell by the shadows as they are only stretching out a bit.Lighting
It was probably a cloudy day, which really helps with photography. The clouds act as natural diffusion!Equipment
This was shot with an OG DJI Mavic Pro. The first one. I need a new drone lol ????Inspiration
I went to the park to originally try and get a reflection off of some puddle or something but there were so many people walking around trying to take the same photo I decided to hide around the corner, and take my drone up. I honestly gasped when I saw the composition lining up!Editing
This was a simple edit, nothing too crazy. I did pull the pink in the trees out a bit more to accentuate the beauty of the cherry blossoms, but otherwise simple curve adjustments! In my camera bag
My Sony a7rii, probably a 24-70mm lens, and perhaps a prime lens should I want to change lenses. Additionally, a bag of batteries, extra SD cards, a tripod, and maybe even a gimbal as I do a lot of video work these days.Feedback
If you’re flying drones in public places definitely be aware of your surroundings. Safety first always, but otherwise have fun with it!
