Behind The Lens

Location

I was on my summer vacation in Southern Italy. The day was not so sunny, though, and we were all waiting for the lady to jump. Finally, she decided to go and I took the shot

Time

As I said, it was a cloudy day, around one pm. No particular preparation, just a shot taken "on the go"

Lighting

A problem I tried to cope with was the diffused light by the clouds and the sea on the background. It needed some basic exposure adjustments in lightroom afterward

Equipment

This was shoot on a Nikon D 5000, using a 50-300 multifocal tele

Inspiration

Well, better if I don't say :) ... it is rather obvious, isn't it?

Editing

It needed some basic exposure adjustments in lightroom afterward to extract a bit more details from the sky

In my camera bag

I always take with me my Nikkor 50 mm macro lens. It is a real versatile lens that can be used in a lot of circumstances. Besides, if I have my bag with me, I always have a wide angle lens and the 50-300 one. Plus, of cours, a tripod and a remote control, spare battery and memory cards
