Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken in Powerscourt Estate and Gardens, Enniskerry, Ireland. As I am still in the beginning, every photo is a new lesson.Time
This picture was taken on August 27th, in the evening, at approximately 17:00. I will not be able to tell you the exact time, but I do remember that was almost closing time, and I found myself in this amazing flower garden, and I just could not stop taking pictures of every single one of them.Lighting
I played with the contrast, because I wanted to share the view that I had before my eyes when I captured this beauty.Equipment
I used a Canon 1200D, 50mm 1.8 lens, no tripod/flashInspiration
I love taking pictures of flowers, actually I love capturing everything that means nature. I saw this pink flower, and I said, "WOW! will look amazing with the background. Let's get into business!"Editing
As I said before. I played with the contrast, but not too much, as the lens already did the most of the job.In my camera bag
Well, to be honest, as I am still in the beginning, I do not have too many things. Therefore, everything that I own goes in my backpack: canon 1200d, 50 mm 1.8 lens and 18-55 mm lens. Sometimes I might take my tripod with me, but depends on the time of the day and my mood :)Feedback
Well, I don't know if I am the right person to ask for an advice, as I am a beginner myself. What I can tell you is "Practice! Practice! Practice!", and invest in a good quality lens. My boyfriend bought me the 50mm 1.8 lens as a present for my Birthday, and it was the best thing ever. Yes, and follow your heart and mind when you are taking pictures, don't go by the rules.
