Congrats on your contest award! I love Skogafoss, and how wonderful to see sheep in front of it! :)

Location
This photo was taken along the side of the ring road in Iceland. We went down the wrong road to get to the waterfall. when I noticed the sheep. My friend pulled over for me to take the shot.Time
We were there during the summer. When in Iceland there is sunlight for 24 hours. The sun just dips under the horizon the refresh then it heads back up. This was taken in the afternoon around 5 pm.Lighting
While the sky was clouded over and did not provide much interest, it did make the green grass pop.Equipment
I had my favorite Nikon d800 with 80-200 2.8 on a tripod with a 10 stop ND Filter.Inspiration
I have long be inspired by images all over Iceland and of this waterfall in particular the shear magnitude and power of it. I wanted a different angle then want I have seen in the past. It was fortunate, that my friend turned down the wrong road. The sheep inspired my interest, as I believe the would make a great foreground element, with the waterfall cascading in the background.Editing
I process mostly out of Lightroom and Photoshop with finishing touches in color effects. In my camera bag
In my bag, I travel with my Nikon D800, 80-200mm 2.8, 16-35mm 4, and 14-24mm 2.8Feedback
Try to find different angles that you haven't seen before. I have seen many crowd up and fight for one spot. I usually head someone else, and explore different angles to some of the more popular destinations.
