It was mid-afternoon, normally a terrible time to shoot with natural light, but luckily we had some awesome cloud cover as soft snow clouds starting to roll in.Lighting
We had a lot of nice natural light bouncing around from the snow covered objects everywhere, it made for really nice soft and even light.Equipment
Canon 5D Mark III with 85mm @1.8Inspiration
Her wedding was winter themed so I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a snowy portrait session.Editing

I absolutely love shooting with prime lenses whenever I can, the three I'll grab first are my trusty Sigma Art 35mm art, the 85mm, and lastly the 135mm f2.Feedback
I cannot recommend scouting enough, especially when you know you will only have a short amount of time to spend with your subject. It was around 20 degrees outside and as soon as the bride took off her shawl she was freezing, so having areas already picked out and knowing what angles I wanted to shoot ahead of time was very important.
