Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at the end of the track from where I live near Inverness Scotland. I could see the cars coming off the main road.

Time

This was early one morning, the best time when the roads are nice & quiet!

Lighting

I found it very difficult to get my settings right , even though it was a beautiful sunny morning,very tall trees were casting shadows on parts of the road.

Equipment

Because it was a spur of the moment, I had no camera equipment, I didn't want to risk being too late to capture these stunning cars!

Inspiration

I love photographing Vintage cars,when looking back on the photos I have taken of them, I can see the love that's been put into restoring them,real passion!

Editing

The only thing I changed about this picture was to convert it from colour to Black & White. I thought the B & W gave it abit more of an effect.

In my camera bag

I normally carry my lenses & tripod,Also my little black book I call my Bible where I write settings etc down as I'm just an amature so this helps me a lot!

Feedback

There are a few Vintage "runs" throughout the Highlands of Scotland, im not surprised as it is a stunning place to drive as a group in such stunning old cars!!!
