It was taken just after 7am on a rather chilly morning , minus 4 -6 oc in the Highlands of ScotlandLighting
It was a freezing morning but these rather chilly mornings are the best time to be out when nature is at its best. It's amazing how nature can be so pretty!Equipment
I only had my camera out with me on this day. It was so cold and I had no intention in staying out too long to be using a tripod. I knew I wouldn't haveto go far in the garden to find some natural beauty!Inspiration
I love the frosty mornings, it makes things look like they have diamonds and crystals on them. It don't really matter what you photograph with frost on, everything looks so pretty!Editing
The only thing I hadto change on this photo was the brightness & sharpness. I hadn't had my lens for long so I wasnt used to it.In my camera bag
I carry spare memory cards & batteries,different lenses, tripod , a whistle (& chocolate!) ;)Feedback
I'm not qualified enough I don't think to give advice about taking photos like this but if I really hadto, I would say just go out and experiment and have fun!! ( and wrap up warm!!
