This was taken on 44 mile backpack trip out of Kings Canyon National Park in the late 1980s. Not only did I pack all my backpacking gear for a week (a friend also carried some) I also carried about 15 pounds of Hasselblad gear and a Bogen tripod. This is an early morning sunrise shot. Later that morning we walked through the saddle (Glen Pass, almost 12,000" in elevation) on the right of the mountain, which is named Painted Lady. Scanned negative on an Epson V750 Scanner and Silverfast software.
