During a recent sojourn to Jurien Bay North of Perth, Western Australia I was lucky and captured some lightning over sands dunes. The sun was just coming up over the horizon to your right of view. I quickly locked on the camera to the tripod, plugged in my remote. Oh no I forgot to charge up those batteries, so I held down the tripod hard into the sand and hoped to have fast reactions without giving the camera a fright and moving it :-)
