This little damselfly was quite the model for me, as it posed on the fence and other spots for a fun photo shoot. I'm not sure of the species - I believe a southern spreadwing damselfly. The pepper is known by a number of names in Texas - commonly called bird chili, chili petin, chili pequin or chiltepin.
