Meet Skylar and Lucy. They are engaged! To celebrate this wonderful event, they asked me to document their joy in the Salt Flats of Utah. To capture all possible color in the sunset I purposely subdued the lighting and used a little bit of flash to bring out highlights.

I have spent most of my days avoiding photographing humans. I would rather spend time in forests and mountains capturing Nature’s moments. I share some of those photos from time to time on social media. From the shots I shared some friends thought I could/would photograph important moments in their lives. Reluctantly, I agreed because they are friends. It seems my friends want me to continue these types of photos and because this type of photograph is not my strength, I am hoping I can get some critiques/feedback from those of you who love this type of photography.
