I have not been taking photos very long bought my first camera in 2012 a second hand Pentax K10 purchased on EBay
I upgraded to a Pentax K5 in 2013 again second hand Pentax K10 purchased on EBay
During 2014 I decided to sell my Pentax and bought a second hand Sony Nex 7 and then a Sony A6000
In 2015 I purchased a Sony A7ii and decided to keep my Sony A6000 after sellinmg the Nex 7 to a friend
I love my new camera and I go out with my camera several times each week
This shot was taken the first day that I had the Sony Nex 7
It was taken late at night it was that dark and all I could see was the silhouette of the windmill I had to guess the position of the camera. also I was not familiar with the camera settings I had to use the light from my mobile phone to see the camera and locate the shutter button
I took 5 shots before I managed to get the camera in the correct position without cutting off the windmill sails

I have had this photo printed on a canvas and I am proud to have it showing on my lounge wall

The sun is obviously setting behind the windmill. What was used to light up the front of the house?

Congratulations! on winning the People's Choice of Night Architecture Challenge. Very serene and peaceful indeed. The stars whispers the secrets of the universal. Very strong entry indeed. :-)
