My family and I ventured 10 miles into the Weminuche Wilderness Area north and east of Vallecito Reservoir near Durango, Colorado along the Los Pinos River this past weekend. Near our surreal campsite I photographed the Milky Way rising above the river and the fog that rested in the valley after a violent thunderstorm. What an amazing place!
