The great temptation is to look to the ocean and the light, but the trees that overhang us are beautiful and here I have filled the frame with one of them. I walk on land belonging to the indigenous peoples of the coast, the soil under my feet is filled with old clam shells from thousands of years of use, and the islets off shore are called the skeleton islands because they were used as a cemetery. I walk in history, I walk in beauty.
