Beaver Island is located in the middle of Lake Michigan, about 2 hours north of Traverse City. It is a very rustic place with very few paved roads but lots of trails through natural habitat. The people are so friendly and there is always something beautiful to see. This image was taken from the docks next to where the ferry from Charlevoix, MI lands.

So fun to find these Monarch Butterflies on Queen Anne's Lace! They are getting ready to make their trip south for the winter. Taken near Muskego
