I took this shot in Germany whilst visiting family a couple of years back. I thought the detail in the hand and in the faces of the baby ferrets would make for an ideal monochrome conversion. The colour version was way too distracting. I love the contrast between the newborn ferrets and old rugged hand that cradles them.
