This is brilliant, Emily. You captured a unique moment there, not just by default but by doing everything right: The focal length is aptly chosen to enhance the presence of the ship and not to allow it to get lost in the vastness of the main. The focus seems very sharp and vivid backdrop adds a great feeling. But what makes this photo great is the placement of the ship, which creates some sort of negative space, thus prompting the eyes of the beholder to drift to the rest of the frame and be entranced by the rainbow splendour. A great overall composition and as such merits the highest awards.

Mick thank you so much for your comment and praise. I waited until the ship seemed to be at the end of the rainbow. I took a few shots before and after, but this seemed the right shot for me, so thank you again for justifying my choice of shots. Hope all is well with you.
