Chapel of Christ the Savior, Old San Juan, This street is never empty, but this day we walked all over OSJ and this was about the last stop I did to visit "La Capilla De Calle Cristo" the story goes like this, On or about 1750 there was a horse race on this street that was common over two hundred years ago, well one day one of the horses kept running after the finish line and towards the end of this street right where the chapel is standing, at the time there was no chaple just a dead end street with a cliff of about close to two hundred foot drop, the horse went over the cliff with it's rider, there was a woman at the balcony on the left home at the end of the street and she screamed "Save him Christ the Savior!!" witch the rider did survive but not the horse, the chapel was built in honor of that miracle and also to prevent any further tragedy's
