Even the smallest splashes can be amazing in their complexity. One drop falls, creates a spout, when that spout reaches its maximum height it releases a droplet of water into the air.. hit that with a second droplet and it pancakes due to surface tension. Happens millions of times every day in the rain and nobody sees it.
