Milk + Glycerin + Red food dye into plain water. Canon 580 EXII Flash behind the drop with a light blue gel firing into frosted perspex. 430 EX II flash in front firing naked at the front of the splash to light up the milk. Flashes fired at 1-64th power.

Even the smallest splashes can be amazing in their complexity. One drop falls, creates a spout, when that spout reaches its maximum height it releases

Frozen at 1-40,000th of a second this image was taken in my home studio.

I had 3 hours in singapore and spent most of it up on top of the Marina Bay Sands waiting for the sun to go down to get this shot.

Luckily poison arrow frogs are not poisonous when raised out of their natural environment. This one posed for a little while for me.

Blue Milk dropped into Red Milk, I love the way you can see the red milk through the blue.
