If this is not perfection, you're closer to it that I have ever seen. Agree with jimoconnor's comment: the clean dark background makes this shot different and outstanding from anything I've seen. On top of the fact that it's a perfect capture of the instant. Waow! I'm wordless!

Wonderful shot! I'm curious about the lighting - I'm thinking the background is "clean" because taken at night; the lighting seems to be flash, but flashed from the right and far above the rider. If so, how did you get a flash so high off the ground?

Thank you but the shot was taken during the day using natural light and using photoshop to remove distractions.

This is a wonderful shot, my husband used to be a rodeo cowboy and he can relate all too well about this poor cowboy's fate when he eats dirt. Above all the composition of the subject is perfect, the edit and colors makes this well worth a thumbs up, I hope you intend to print and hang this on your wall.

Love the diagonals captured here and the dramatic warm lighting Peter! Best of all no distractions in the background! Simply superb!
