....That's the moon at 84% hiding behind the clouds!
Got this shot on the way to work ....i go to work quite early ....i usually stop and get some kinda snacks for breaks ....weatherman said rain ....it had just started sprinkling in the tiniest bit ....got out of the truck and saw this ....well, I am probably going to be late because i have to try and get a photograph of this ....hadn't seen a rainbow in quite some time....that rainbow wasn't going to stick around and i was frantically flipping the settings ....only sad part was my lens was only an 18mm which is 27mm on my cropped sensor ...shame because that rainbow stretched across the sky ... i cursed the gods quite audibly and a construction worker close by shot out a heartfelt laugh ...I'm pretty sure he felt the same way .... thought about doing a pano ....but there was no time to break out the tripod ...a plane actually flew through the rainbow, i shot a video of that, but due to physics, it appeared as just a spec. Anywayz, for anyone going thru some hard times, just remember ....You're a Rainbow!
