Aoraki Mount Cook, New Zealand
A river flowing in to the Hooker Lake, forms a foreground for Mt Cook, this majestic mountain. I co-lead a sold out photo workshop there last year with Rod Trenchard. When you find the perfect person to lead a workshop with, you stick with them, so we will repeat it annually for a while at least.
A week living together in the confines of a camper van cemented the friendship. And that is a test! How does someone become laid back but with outrageously high standards; clean and tidy without being anal about it; a great cook ( well he can and does cook) and knows the lyrics to just about every song that's been written in the last 20 years. Laughed til I cried all the way around NZ, and yes, the beer was good too :P
4 images in a focal length blend, and also blended for water motion.
