I was at the top of the Montparnasse Tower at Paris. And I was lucky that the sky clears out at the sunset. One hour before, we just saw the Eiffel Tower !!!

Merci beaucoup.

very interesting image! I do not believe it can be done as a single shot. "Easily done" as a composite image, yet in this case the absence of cats eye blur circles is a surprise. If its making involved post processing of a single image, then I am curious how the brightness in the big blur circles was controlled.

mysterieux ! We love your enigma of the Tour Eiffel ! The blur circle partly covered by the tower helps to make things clear. This would be obtained straight out of the camera with a 50mm f/2 wide open on APS-C , if the tower were a miniature object in focus at a distance of about 6m and the light source for the blur circle were at a much greater distance. (with the full size tower and a 50mm, the tower is at photographic infinity and there is no possibility for the light source to be beyond infinity)

Thank you very much my friend. Here, it's a Canon 18-135 mn. I had forgotten my Canon 70-200 f2,8 at home. With this lens, the picture would have been more beautifull !!!
