An unexpected and somewhat unplanned shot in many ways.
I had intended to visit Yenyening Lakes Nature Reserve, which is about a 3 hour drive from my home. I had never been there before and while travelling around the dirt tracks and farms in the outback I came to realise I should have researched more and planned for the enterance - which I could not find. I looked over the maps and chose a small salt lake not so far from my current position. It was majestic and without a trace of anyone. I set up and started shooting. Covered in around 50 or more flies didn't matter - it was a rare find.
