My first feeling when viewing this photo was sadness as the tree seems so isolated and cut off from the other trees (as many people are). I then realised that by continuing to stand tall and not lay down it has provided a safe haven for various animal life that may otherwise be threatened. Such an important life lesson. (Just my opinion).
