Between 1999 and 2001 the mill was thoroughly restored.
The mill has a round, strongly conical brick body. The thatched cap is seasoned using an English herb .
The wicker cross is Old Dutch and originally had pot rods. The mill has a cast iron top shaft and water shaft.
The water is moved with an iron paddle wheel that has a diameter of 5.80 m and is 45 cm wide.
