Spent more time here taking photos than I had planned and the parking meter ran out and cost me $80 +. Worth it though as it was a spectacular night watching the full moon come up over San Francisco Bay. This is the Bay Bridge,and it's spectacular LED lights with Oakland in the background. I was pretty lucky that the Seagull stayed put on that old piling. This is a single shot.

Yep us and a thousand others, have seen many shots from here. I edited this one a little different than a couple others taken that night and finally got the colors right.

Great sharpness and the moon and gull .. added attractions that only timing can bring the lucky ones. Really like your POV shooting the pilings as close as you did. There was a bicycle wheel over on of the pilings when I was there in October...Did you have to take it out?

Thank you very much for the kind words Gayle, I was really lucky that gull did not move. I took this photo in July 2013 but it is a recent edit and there was no bicycle wheel over the piling. The only problem I had here was the parking ticket I got : D
