At very low tides this reef is part of the shore and one can slither down across the seaweedy rocks to have a look. Sort of like seeing the hidden parts of a personality and a reminder that the surface of things is only that and sometimes the challenge for a photographer is to somehow indicate the hidden depths while still remaining true to the qualities of a camera.
