I've always had a problem trying to get a good photo of this little guy because they are too fast for me and love to sit on a tree out in the middle of the beaver pond. Today was a lucky day because he was in a tree just just by the side of where the stream met the trail and I was able to sneak up on him from behind trees so he never knew I was there.

Thanks. Yes, when I put my san disk in the computer to I could see the shot in more detail, I was jumping for joy, going yes! yes!. Now my next goal is to get a GOOD photo of a male hooded merganser. LOL!!

Yes you did it. This is absolutely beautiful. I have a lot of blurry bird photos. I know the frustration. This is a great capture!

Thanks. Yes, they are really really hard to sneak up on and if they do sense you, they start calling and let all the wildlife around know that someone is here.LOL!!! They are almost like a security alarm .
