Our new pet parakeet, SUNSHINE, purchased to pair with Saxy Bird, our blue parakeet also shown from his first shower in photo on my website vb. SUNSHINE just finished her first shower and is viewing herself in the mirror as a female should do! :-) After one week in separate cages next to each other, they are in same cage successfully and Saxy has even found a way to "do love tap irritating things" that is hysterical to watch. If not that and the two of them doing everything together, Lord have mercy they need to come up for air as these birds are CONSTANTLY kissing! Kissing and regurgitating in birdworld if very strong love and affection and approval of the mate. To get them paired, I put both into neutral grounds, which is the bathtub with the shower on lightly as they like the bouncing mist. So, as this took place, they both needed each other in neutral place and the two have not left each other's side since. It is love from there and Saxy now is very glad to share the new big cage! Sunshine is so pretty yellow with a purplish beak top and dark red eyes. She is very mild and loving. Saxy Bird...he is the type A of the two lol. He loves music, dancing, etc. The two have been teaching each other bird stuff as time goes on. :-) Thanks for looking!
