This spider attracted me as the pattern is so distinctive .. I used my 18-55 mm lens with a Canon 500d close up lens/filter attached ... I used a focal length of 55 .. I stepped down the exposure bias to -1 to darken the exposure and converted to B&W to show the pattern on the spiders back to greater effect
