This black and white photo was taken about 20 hours after we had a Blood Red Moon – Lunar Eclipse. I had messed up my days and missed the moon turning a reddish color in the earth's shadow during this total lunar eclipse. This eclipse is the last full lunar eclipse visible from the United States until 2019 and I will get that one if the weather permits.

Very surreal, nicely done :) Love the contrast of the horizon with the sky.

It is surreal especially the moon reflection right at the end of the moonlight path. I like to call it my "lake catchlight" as opposed to an eye catchlight. Thanks very much for the "nicely done" comment and the peer recognition.

Thanks for the "Great photo" comment and the "Jaw Dropping" peer recognition. I like your comment on "Painting the world silver" because this is a B&W photo the reflected moonlight truly does look silver (the moon has no inherent silvery quality).

Thanks for the comment "Beautiful" and for the "Top Choice" peer recognition. I think this photo plays nicely into the Rule of Thirds and that helps make it more appealing.

I like your story better than mine and maybe in 2019 we will both meet with success.
