It doesn't get better than this... I could write a children's book based on this image... I wrote a poem about the moon one night. My husband was deployed with the United States Army for two years to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Blue Moon

Did you see that rare blue moon tonight,

In the sky of the land where they fight?

As I gazed up I thought longingly of you,

When you saw it, did you think of me too?

War has taken you my Soldier, far from me,

You left, and I never knew how long it would be.

When you are gone it leaves a hole in my heart,

How I wish we never had to be apart.

Now I wonder will I see you sometime soon,

I realize sadly, only once in a blue moon.

Beautiful and tough to pass over for 'Grand Prize" in my little challenge. I did however, bc my boundaries were not clear and the technical submissions so heavy I did feel I had to honor those... Surprised this did not get People's Choice..really.... well, I guess...guess that is dependent on "shares" too. Thanks so much..it is beautiful!
