Just read your bio and since you asked... A local pro said, As a photographer, I have no obligation to the truth." Unless of course you are a photojournalist. I do both. Heavily photoshop some and leave some mostly alone. Depends on what I am trying to create. Now, If I may offer a suggestion on this photo - which I love - that white spot is terribly distracting. Try it without that spot and possibly the top right background stuff. Is it "photoshoping", sure but so was converting to BW. Which in this case is great.
