We all know how quickly the weather can change and what a difference a few minutes makes. This photo was taken at Rainbow Curve on Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain Nat’l park in early May. At this point in time, Trail ridge wasn’t open to traffic yet, so my daughter and I decided to walk up the road. Five minutes before this photo was taken, the sun was out and there was no sign of fog or snow. I had planned to take set this shot against a blue sky, but the weather quickly changed and turned Spring into Winter in a matter of minutes. Although this isn’t what I had intended, I like the result.
