None of my dogs have really liked having their photograph taken... this one only got Ruby, my 10 year old Rottweiler cross breed dog, to focus because someone behind me was waving a couple of meat pies in her direction ;-)
Sadly, we lost Ruby in July of this year, a few months after this photo was taken... She suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament and given her age, weight and the likelihood of damage caused to the other knee following an operation, we had to take the monstrous decision to have her put to sleep.
