Unedited and Unstaged action portrait taken during a trip to the beach in Spring . This is part of a selection of intimate candid moments , " modelled " , by my daughter during a trip to the beach , the water was freezing , but this was a moment when taking notice if the cold was not an option as it was the first day we had , had chance to enjoy some time together in our favourite place after I had been in Lockdown at Home for fourteen months during the Coronavirus Pandemic. I had many themes building up in my mind over that time about creating pictures of Mindfulness , Womanhood and Freedom of Expression and this impromptu photo session was completely created by just standing in the water and taking candid shots of my daughter as she swam and played and exercised in the sea creating a true to life collection of images of a young woman being herself. The light in this shot was behind the subject and natural , from sun low in the sky just before the golden hour began. Taken from a selection of continuous shooting action images it creates the image of stillness despite the movement of the model and the water. Creative Portrait Art Composition Photography.
