At the sculptural square at Combs, BC, it was difficult to find an angle that had any hope of expressing the peace and contemplation that the individual sculptures were originally meant to portray. The bamboo, the folds of the clothing, against the celestial blue of the sky seemed to work best for me. How important it is for the photographer to feel the mood within him/herself if we are to express effectively.
