Police arresting a suspect half a block from our home, which is always anxiety producing, especially since our own house was robbed a couple of years ago on New Year's Eve.. I have no idea why he was arrested, and it seemed rather odd that he was shirtless. Anyway, the incident called for a substantial police presence--five squad cars and 12 officers--but it's reassuring that they are often there when you need them.
