I had a good time watching this dragonfly (I think it is a red rock skimmer but not certain of that ID) as it vied for the high point of the stick hanging out over the water. The three blue damselflies (again, not certain, but think they are familiar bluet) held their own against the bigger dragon. Fun action and got some pretty cool photos. These were taken during March 2019 near Asherton in Dimmit County, Texas.
