Location
This was taken is the reptile house at Chester Zoo.Time
It was taken in the middle of the day, although given the location that wasn't really relevant.Lighting

Canon 800D, lens was 10-300 f4-5.6 zoom - great lens for the zoo as it allows good close ups and also had a great macro mode. It take it everywhere. Secret weapon for this shot is a flexible rubber lens hood. Pressed up against the glass it eliminates almost all of the reflections.Inspiration
